Access Options
Compare the Right Access Method
Drone cleaning can be useful when the main purpose of access is a relatively short cleaning operation. Scaffolding, MEWPs, rope access and water-fed systems may be more suitable for other buildings or types of work.
Access without a full working platform
For suitable cleaning tasks, the drone carries the cleaning equipment to the facade while the team remains on the ground.
A smaller ground footprint may be possible
The required ground control area depends on the site, operating plan, nearby people and applicable requirements.
Short operating windows
Some sites can be cleaned in planned early morning or other agreed operating windows, subject to weather and permissions.
A proper comparison matters
We compare drone cleaning with scaffolding, MEWPs, rope access and water-fed systems rather than assuming one method suits every building.
Questions we assess on site
- Does the work need direct physical contact with the facade?
- Is a safe take-off and landing area available?
- How will people, vehicles and nearby properties be managed?
- Would existing scaffold or a MEWP already on site be more practical?
- What method is suitable for the surface, shape and weather exposure?
Suitable For
Buildings We Clean
Our high-access and drone cleaning service covers commercial buildings, industrial structures and heritage sites across Liverpool and the North West.
City Centre Buildings
Liverpool city centre buildings may require additional planning because the operating environment, people on the ground, roads and footways need to be assessed. The operation plan determines whether any highway restriction or particular operating window is needed.
We coordinate the site-planning and council requirements that apply to the particular operation, including traffic management information where a highway restriction is needed.
