Carpet cleaning planned around your building

Footfall, carpet construction and access all affect the result. We assess the areas and agree the method, scope and timing before work starts.

  • High traffic commercial carpets

The method is selected for busy carpets in corridors, reception areas and workspaces.

  • Offices, hotels and care settings

We clean carpets in offices, hotels, care settings and managed properties.

  • Carpet tiles and fitted carpets

Both carpet tiles and fitted commercial carpets are cleaned where the material and condition are suitable.

  • Hot water extraction where suitable

Hot water extraction is used where it is suitable for the agreed work and carpet type.

  • Drying and return to use guidance

Drying guidance is given for the job so areas can be planned around normal use.

  • Section by section cleaning

Work can be planned in sections or outside business hours so the whole building is not out of use at once.

How long will the carpets take to dry?

There is no reliable drying time for every carpet. The material, cleaning method, amount of treatment and airflow all make a difference. We can discuss a realistic working window once we know the carpet and the site. Plan to keep normal foot traffic off the cleaned areas until they are fully dry.

Can you clean carpets while the business stays open?

It may be possible to work in sections, provided people can use another route and the cleaned areas can stay clear while drying. Tell us which rooms, corridors and exits are needed throughout the day. For a busy reception or the only access corridor, a visit outside opening hours may be more practical.

Can you clean carpet tiles as well as fitted carpet?

Yes, where the material and installation are suitable. The backing, adhesive and condition matter as well as the visible fibres. If you know the manufacturer or have the care instructions, send them with your enquiry. Loose, damaged or badly worn tiles may need attention beyond cleaning.

Will coffee stains and dark walkways come out?

Cleaning can improve many spills and areas where dirt has built up, but complete removal cannot be promised. A dark walkway may include worn fibres as well as soiling. Tell us what caused a stain, how long it has been there and what has already been used on it, if you know.

Why has a stain come back after the carpet was cleaned?

Sometimes a spill reaches deeper than the visible surface. As the carpet dries, remaining material can travel back up the fibres and become visible again. This is called wicking. Cleaning product left in the carpet can also attract fresh dirt. A returning mark needs assessment before simply repeating the same treatment.

Can cleaning remove bleach marks or repair worn patches?

No. Bleach can remove colour from the fibres, and wear can permanently change their appearance. Cleaning removes soil; it does not replace missing dye or rebuild damaged fibres. A photo can help us distinguish an area worth cleaning from one that may need a carpet repair or replacement tile.

Do we need to move desks and furniture first?

Please clear loose items, cables and small obstacles from the areas being cleaned. Agree any furniture movement with us before the visit. Heavy desks, fixed units and IT equipment should not be assumed to be included. If furniture must stay in place, the quote needs to reflect the areas we can actually reach.

How often should commercial carpets be professionally cleaned?

Base the schedule on use and the carpet manufacturer's guidance. Entrances, corridors and shared stairs usually collect more soil than quieter rooms, so they may need attention sooner. Regular vacuuming and effective entrance mats help between visits. We can discuss a schedule that gives the busiest areas the attention they need.

Is hot water extraction suitable for every commercial carpet?

No single method suits every carpet. We use hot water extraction where appropriate, but the fibres, backing, installation and care instructions need to be considered first. Tell us about any previous shrinkage, colour loss or problems after cleaning. A specialist carpet or an unknown material may need closer assessment before treatment.

What information affects the carpet cleaning price?

The main factors are the area, condition, stain treatment, furniture and access. Several small rooms can take a different amount of work from one open space of the same size. Send approximate dimensions or a floor plan if available, along with photos and the hours when the carpets can be left to dry.
